CallCovered: Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kept Labs LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, maker of CallCovered ("CallCovered," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at getcallcovered.com (the "Site") and our missed-call text-back and related services (the "Services").

1. Who This Policy Covers

• Business customers ("Customers") who purchase and use our Services.
• Website visitors who browse the Site or join a waitlist.
• End callers/texters: the customers of our business Customers, whose phone numbers and messages pass through the Services.

For end-caller data processed through the Services, CallCovered by Kept Labs LLC acts as a service provider/processor on behalf of the Customer, who is responsible for its own privacy obligations to its customers.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

• Contact and business details (name, business name, email, phone number) when you inquire, sign up, or join a waitlist.
• Billing information processed by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
• Message templates and preferences you ask us to configure.

Information collected through the Services:

• Inbound and outbound call metadata (caller number, time, duration, missed/answered status).
• Text message content and phone numbers exchanged between your business and your callers.
• Dashboard usage and reporting data (counts of missed calls, texts sent, leads captured).

Information collected automatically on the Site:

• Basic device/log information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and cookies, if enabled.
• Google Analytics: only if you agree. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use, and how they arrived. It sets cookies in your browser and shares that information with Google.
• You are asked first, and "no" means nothing loads. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use analytics. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is never requested; Google is not contacted, and no analytics cookie is set. Nothing else on the Site changes. Your choice is stored in your own browser, so it is remembered on that browser only and we cannot see it. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will ask again. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Never on your dashboard. We do not run analytics on customer dashboard pages at all, and we never send Google your name, email address, phone number, or any message content.

3. How We Use Information

• To set up, operate, maintain, and support the Services.
• To send automated text-backs, alerts, forwarded messages, and review requests as configured.
• To generate reporting and dashboards for Customers.
• To process payments and manage accounts.
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• To comply with legal, carrier, and A2P 10DLC registration requirements.
• To protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use end-caller phone numbers or message content for our own marketing.

4. SMS Messaging Terms, Consent, and Opt-Out

This section applies to all text messages sent through the Services: both messages CallCovered sends to its business Customers, and messages a business Customer's account sends to people who contact that business.

Consent to receive messages

By providing your mobile phone number to a business that uses CallCovered (including by calling that business, texting that business, or submitting your number through one of its forms), you are consenting to receive text messages from that business at the mobile number you provided. Businesses that sign up for CallCovered consent to receive service, onboarding, and support text messages from CallCovered at the mobile number they provide at signup.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may withdraw consent at any time using the opt-out instructions below.

What we send

Messages are conversational and responsive. They include an automated reply when your call to a business goes unanswered, two-way replies from that business, and, where the business has enabled the feature, a follow-up request for a review after a completed job.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on how often you contact the business and how that business has configured its account.

Opting out

You may reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of future messages from that number. You may also reply with any of the standard opt-out keywords: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will not receive further messages from that number unless you opt back in.

Getting help

You may reply HELP to any message at any time for more information and assistance. You can also reach us directly at 702-605-4550 or brandon@getcallcovered.com.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Any such charges are set and billed by your mobile carrier, not by CallCovered. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of your information for marketing

We will not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. This includes your mobile phone number, your message content, and your mobile opt-in and consent data. Mobile opt-in and consent data are never sold, rented, or shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes under any circumstances.

Supported carriers

Messaging is supported on major U.S. wireless carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed and depends on the carrier, which may filter, delay, or block messages outside our control.

Phone numbers and consent status used for messaging are handled to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA messaging principles and best practices, and carrier A2P 10DLC registration requirements.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Services:

• Service providers/subprocessors: telecommunications and messaging providers (including Twilio) that transmit calls and texts; payment processors; and hosting providers.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell or rent personal information. As stated in Section 4, we do not share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes, and mobile opt-in and consent data are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal and carrier obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Call and message records are retained per our providers' standard retention and our operational needs. Customers may request deletion of their account data as described below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information, including access controls and reliance on reputable providers such as Twilio. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• Access/updates: Customers may request access to or correction of their account information.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account data, subject to legal and carrier retention requirements.
• Messaging opt-out: End recipients can reply STOP to stop messages from a business's number. See Section 4 for full opt-out details.
• Marketing: You can opt out of any CallCovered marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.

Depending on your state (for example, California) or region, you may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise any rights and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site or messages may link to third-party sites (for example, Google reviews). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Site with a new "Last updated" date.
